Welcome to my website. My name is Benny Greeno. I’m a Canadian writer focused primarily on fiction, though I also work in memoir, personal essay, screenplay, and humour. I studied memoir writing with Lawrence Hill while completing a Biological Engineering degree at the University of Guelph. My work has appeared in a Toronto-based periodical, and I’ve made several film projects as a screenwriter, actor, and producer, including a feature-length independent film. I’m currently at work on my first novel, a long-developed fantasy project, and I’m drawn to character-driven stories, ambitious narrative structures, and richly built worlds.
